I'm always wondering what a work af art is. Just something beautiful or something with a real artistic work.
A painting sold a million of euros is art? Who decides? I think that a work of art is first something which gives feelings. Good or bad, any feelings. Indeed, I pick the exemple of a famous work of art " Untitled" by Giovanni Anselmo which presents a leaf of lettuce trapped in two blocs of granite (1968). This work of art is a masterpiece of Arte Poverà, an italian movement in 60's. And I'm wondering if it's a work of art. I learn why the artist did this work. It's an attitud against Industry, beyond consumer society.
Hum.. ok, I'm looking again at this work of art! I understand. So, or my part, there are two approches of a work of art, first, feelings that it gives you, then the sense of this work of art. It allows to appreciate a work of art in two levels.

Je me suis toujours demandée ce qu'était une oeuvre d'art. Quelque chose de beau ou quelque chose avec un vrai travail artistique. Un tableau vendu un million d'euros est une oeuvre d'art. Qui en décide? Je pense qu'une oeuvre d'art est avant tout quelque chose qui vous procure des sentiments. Bon ou mauvais mais des sentiments. En effet, je vais prendre l'exemple d'une célèbre oeuvre d'art "Sans titre" de Giovanni Anselmo, qui représente une feuille de laitue coincée entre deux blocs de granit (1968). Cette ouvre d'art est un chef d'oeuvre de l'Arte Poverà, un mouvement artistique italien des années 60. Et je me demande si c'est vraiment une oeuvre d'art. J'apprends pourquoi l'artiste a réalisé ce travail. Il s'agit d'une attitude contre l'industrie, au delà de la société de consommation.
Hum.. d'accord. Je regarde à nouveau cette oeuvre! Je comprends. Pour ma part, il y donc deux approches de l'oeuvre d'art, tout d'abord, les sentiments qu'elle vous procure ensuite le sens de l'oeuvre. Cela permet d'apprécier l'oeuvre sur deux niveaux.
